About
The Heart Pro III gives users an in depth look at the heart allowing them to cut, zoom & rotate parts of the heart system as well as view animations, create notes, share screenshots and more. It is ideal for students, educators and professionals.
So what’s new in the Heart Pro III?
Well lots actually! Including a completely new interface, graphical hints, sound, a pen tool, media for pins, a brand new quiz format, layer transparent, public notes on pins, 64 new audio pronunciations, 62 new images and tons of movies & animations.
Zoom, Rotate & Cut
Heart Pro III allows users to zoom in to and rotate the entire heart, stopping it at any angle with a simple tap or click. Graphical hints can be turned on or off and help guide the user for seamless navigation. And rather than just the standard anatomical views, you can view the heart from different angles such as Anterior, Lateral, Posterior, Medial. Users can slice the heart with the simple stroke of a finger to get Coronal, Sagittal and Transverse cut views (where available). These views are fully labeled.
View info, media and public notes for pins
Users can add and remove layers using the scalpel tool. And the ‘mix layers’ button can make one layer semitransparent, which is useful when comparing one layer against another layer.
Press the Index button and the user is offered an index of the pins available. Select a pin and the app will automatically take the user to that pin and label it. Or simply press the pin button on the floating toolbar and all available pins will instantly appear. Pins contain detailed information and you can add notes as well as create custom pins!
Media & Animations
Users can access audio pronunciations for each pin. There are also 69 animations (17 are free and 52 are available for in-app purchase) covering heart functions and disease states so users can view animations depicting everything from blood flow in a beating heart to endocarditis and tachycardia.
Illustrate & Quiz
The new pen tool allows users to draw on any screen image and then share it through email, Facebook or Twitter – a great aid for both study and demonstration!
Choose between a multiple-choice quiz format or our new drag-and-drop quiz format.
